First off, English isn’t my first language so sorry bout that.I’m going to be renovating an aging basement apartment and will be laying tiles in the kitchen and bathroom for the first time. I’ve seen a few videos and how-tos and it seems that consistently people apply the grout between the tiles in a very dirtying manner, covering all or big parts of the tile instead of aiming for the spaces between the tiles.I’ve done some brickwork where I had to be super precautious not to touch the terra-cotta brick when filling in the joints as any stain would remain visible, is it much easier to simply wipe the tiles clean instead of being careful not to dirty them in the first place?Example of grotesquely rough grout application: (Photo 5) https://ift.tt/2AWiiOq, Ive never done tiling before.
