Target is giving out a promotional coupon for $15 off a purchase of $50 or more. The coupon has to be added to your account on the Target app (that's what they're promoting). Then, you have it scanned at checkout to apply it to your purchase.

As with most coupons, there are exclusions (e.g. Apple products, Lego, etc.), but it doesn't list video games in them.

EDIT: Since multiple people have asked:

  • You get a physical coupon in-store at checkout, regardless of how much you spend (it's how they're promoting their app; you can't use the coupon without it.)

  • It has a barcode on it, which you scan using the Target app

  • When you scan it, it gets added to your account

  • At your next checkout (you can't use it at the one they give it to you), have the cashier scan your app barcode in the Wallet section. This will subtract $15 from your total.

EDIT 2: Since multiple people can't read - gift cards of any kind are excluded.

Figured some folks may appreciate this whether they go for clothing or not. Their Goodfellow brand is a bit hit-or miss but I was generally impressed with the sizing and some of the basics.
