I’ve looked through posts here and found a lot of different suggestions. I have a frame, and the backing is MDF. I’m sticking a large glass mirror directly to the MDF. Here are the things I’ve been told:First I was told to just use 3M 90 Spray Adhesive.Then someone else at the glass cutter said regular adhesives will mark and show through the mirror.They told me to use mirror mastic.I went to lowes to get it and only found Loctite 530 which says its for mirrors. But the instructions make it seem like its for actually glueing something onto the mirror surface.I was going to go out and get mastic today but also saw you’re supposed to prime the substrate. I guess it can’t be porous?I was going to coat the wood frame in a urathane topcoat, so if I just coat the whole thing, will that work instead of primer?I’m all over the place and clearly have no idea what I’m doing.If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2B1nZe8
