For years, I'd throw away the bar of hand soap once a flat, oval strip of it was left. I didn't even feel I was being wasteful until I saw a housekeeper force some suds out of a mushy blob of soap, that I would have long ago discarded. I realized my actions were very privileged and decided to use every last bit of soap, until I can see it no more :)
