My cousin.. Who I see once a year at Christmas and maybe say three things to.. Invited my husband and I to their wedding.
I understand the traditional wedding gift. After looking at their registration they're mainly asking for Amazon gift cards or movies. Both seem a little.. Not necessary. However we planned to buy some for them.
Incoming shower invite.. Where not only was another gift asked for.. But in lieu of a card a bottle of wine was asked for. We ended up spending $50 on wine and a gift for the shower.
Am I wrong to be a bit bitter for having to buy a shower gift, wine, and another wedding gift all for someone we are NOT close to?
