I recently had a ceiling fan installed. Previously there was an outlet controlled by 3 way switches in that room, and he used that switch for the fan. He didn't however make the other 3 way switch functional. I was hoping it would be possible to still make that work.Box one has 3 old wires in it (plus others connected with different light switches). One of these is wired into the switch for the fan as a power source, one is wired to the neutral for the fan, and one is capped. The outlet has a two conductor wire in it. I can follow this wire in the basement and it leads to approx where box one is. The outlet does not work.Box two has 3 wires connected to the old 3 way light switch. It does not work.Does anyone have an idea of what is going on here and how to make it right? Any help is appreciated.Pictures: https://ift.tt/2OTupxM via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2OXTsjb
