Hello so yesterday I bought a Leica CL from Little Tokyo in Japan for very cheap. The catch was that the rangefinder patch (this is what helps the camera focus) was super dim. When I brought it home I did a flashlight test and concluded that the rangefinder prism was super desilvered. I messed around and was able to get the rangefinder prism out and the pictures are below. My question is how do I remove the mirror from the metal tuning fork and how do I go about getting rid of the mirror finish and then go about resilvering the mirror? Not all of the sides are finished with a mirror finish. The last picture I have is a picture I found online of the mirror out of the tuning fork.
