Thinking of dumping some old man stocks. 2 years ago when I started with a taxable account, I was kinda talked into some individual stocks and here’s what they make up in my current portfolio.

MO - 10.5% of portfolio. Currently down 9.33% T - 8.5% of portfolio, currently down 15.4% BUD - 8.3% of portfolio, currently down 9.7%.

Rest of portfolio is mix of index funds which are up 30-40%+ since 2016. I don’t really believe in these 3 businesses long term and I’m thinking of just dumping them at a large loss and using the cash to slowly average into my other existing index funds. There is the chance these names turn and outperform during any future downturn but I wouldn’t bet on it. Suggestions.
