I work as a night RN, and my paystub is already confusing as it is because of my pay differentials as well as the fact I work what they call a 3/4 split (12 hour shifts) so every pay period (biweekly) I have OT. HR just brought me in this morning and said for the past 3 pay periods OT was over paid by 3x as much and in total I was overpaid to the tune of around 1200, so the next 3 paychecks they are going to take out 400 to correct the issue. I've been thinking about it all day, 1) HR didnt show me a breakdown of my paystub errors 2) what about taxes? 3) who can I take my paystubs to look this over? They just switched to a new payroll system and I currently only have access to my paystubs on site at work so I'm going to print out all my paystubs today. Any help is greatly appreciated.
