Pretty much as the title implies. My partner recently told me how I'm such a great person yet they need to work on themselves and to please not be upset at them. Everyone reading this knows that spiel. So, here's my question and short tl;dr on my throwaway as we're both currently locked away in separate rooms as I type this, with nobody else to seemingly turn to.

We just moved in one month or so ago, it's personally cost me about $10,000. That's not alot of money to alot of people I'm sure, but it was about half my savings. They "swear by it" they're going to pay me back the doing this thing half and half that we agreed upon, because I had the full finances at the time, but I'm not entirely sure whether I should trust them or not?

My current means of transportation is their vehicle we drove out here while mine sells back home. I should be starting work by the end of the month here as my job originally planned had not fallen through successfully. I've been on the market for a vehicle the past week or so.

Do I continue to live here in the house I essentially lease for them until my money is returned in full? Or should I just go ahead and cut my losses, find an apartment nearby with my new job and grab a cheap beater vehicle in the meantime?

Personal feeling out of this post, I'm genuinely-simply looking for what to do next with my life. Clearly, I've made a terrible mistake.
