So... I've been working for the same company for almost 7 years now, and recently got promoted to branch manager. Included was a $3.00 an hour raise bringing my hourly up $19.50, and a restructuring of how I earn commission. Usually we get 10% of all our monthly work after $9,000 ... But now I get 6% from Dollar $0

So to the point, I found out that they're paying the guy who took my old job $19 an hour (they payed me $16.50 to do that job)

Did I get bamboozled before? or have I been bamboozled now? Or is this just what branch managers make?

Should I ask for more money? I started as manager the beginning of July

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Edit: I work for a central Cali pest control company. We have 2 branches and I'm in charge of almost a third of the company. Secretarys and the GM work at the other branch, we just have service technicians in my branch and I'm supposed to run a small route myself.

Edit: further clarification. I am managing 9 other technicians, we're a branch of 10. And we have an equivalent sized branch + some office staff a few cities over.. I went from a $18,000 route to now about $8,000
