Hi r/DIY(Relevant pics https://ift.tt/2L6OWg2) I need to get some furniture out of my house but a sliding door is impeding progress and I find myself 2 inches from success. In the past when I've dealt with sliding doors I've simply lifted them out. The door in question does not want to lift out. When fully lifted the outer lip will not clear the runner.I thought I'd be clever by removing the handle as the door sliding fully across would give enough space. Sadly the lock protrudes and won't allow me to slide it across. I've tried removing the metal strip that connects to the side of the lock but this just allows for the whole unit to move up and down.Could anyone with experience of this suggest how I could either temporarily remove the lock or door? If you need further pics or info please let me know. Many thanks.Edit: I've removed the lock following advice from u/bozrom but am still half an inch short. I'd be grateful for suggestions on how to pop the sliding door out. Thanks. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2OOUZs0
