Hey all! I'm looking for some advice.I'm trying to mount a 50lbs 60" TV to my wall. I'm using a non-articulating flush mount. Dead center of where I want to mount it is a stud. It's 24" between studs on this wall. I've been doing some research and it looks like I have a few options. The two I've narrowed it down to are:1: Secure the flush mount bracket on the center stud with 2 lag bolts and secure the 4 corners with with dry wall anchors...or2: Secure two 2x4's across the three studs (~36" in length) with counter sunk lag bolts and then secure the mount with lag bolts to the 2x4's.I'd prefer #1 to keep it as flush to the wall as possible but I could deal with the distance from #2 if that was my only option. What are y'all's thoughts? Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2MYZYpw
