We live 1400 miles apart and have never met, but we have known each other for over 3 years and have finally decided its time to meet. We can both get direct flights to chicago that don't take to horribly long and its close to the middle between us.
However we are both nontraditional students (25 and 26 years old) and arn't made of money. We are making a vacation of it. The thing is, we are trying at this point to figure out hotels. We definitely want separate rooms since we ARE just meeting in person for the first time. We go back on forth about an airbnb. We don't want to rent a car so to get around it will be walking, bus, train, or uber. We want somewhere thats clean, safe, and not in the middle of nowhere (since like I said, we would need to walk quite a bit).
We are both super excited, but at the same time pretty nervous about all the logistics.
