I'm 27, and I've been coughing up blood for 2 months. Today I went to the ER and my cat scan revealed "nodules" all over my lungs and an enlarged Lymph Node. I haven't been diagnosed officially, but I'm not very hopeful.

Due to a recent family emergency, I had to quit my job at the beginning of the year, and become a stay at home caretaker. I have no health insurance, no income, a bachelor's degree, and even if I get a job tomorrow, benefits won't kick in for a while. I do have ok credit, high 680's last time I checked. My family has a roughly $100,000 trust that I'm a beneficiary of, though I've never accessed it. What's your best recommendation for survival without bankrupting my family?

I'm willing to rack up credit card debt and then go through bankruptcy. Is that illegal, or will I have to access that trust before I can legally declare bankruptcy? I'm willing to travel to portugal or spain or wherever I can get to get treatment cheaper. Please help, at this point I'm not afraid to die, I just don't want to destroy my family in the process.
