here's where i stand right now. 77K stock portfolio (28K gain over 3 years). 60K in cash.
I only started investing 3 years ago and basically have had 50-75K lying in cash not doing much for these 4 years out of college excluding my first when I was building up cash. Recently took my portfolio up to 70K (so actual gains per year are more like 40-50% per year out of which my first year (2015-2016) was almost dead flat) but I'm worried about exposing myself too much now.
How would you advise how to invest the remaining 60K? I feel mad that I didn't take more risks these past 3 years when I could effectively taken that 40% and had 70-80K in gains today instead
Edit: I am 27 and currently saving 3K/Month (also have some from my employer stocks but not a lot). Have nothing in retirement except part of my portfolio in a Roth IRA. The reason why I was so scared about investing in the stock market and just holding some 50K in cash at all times after college is because I have bad memories from the 08 crash and kept thinking it will happen again and also because until recently my visa status was extremely unpredictable. However this never ending bull market has left me very jealous at how much more I could have made
