https://youtu.be/tU0dEbRZTpY I am not sure if this is the place to turn to but we are looking to make a barn door and we already have the hardware. My question is, would this method be strong enough structurally for the door? I have seen people make a frame with pocket jig, then put tongue and groove pieces as the door back, pocket jig with regular boards on the back, tongue and groove with the frame glued and screwed to them, regular boards with the frame glued and screwed and also tongue and groove/regular boards glued and brad nailed to the frame. I know the first is the most secure, but for the lack of tools and experience could I do one of the brad nail or screw methods and still be okay?TL;DR pocket jig frame vs frame screwed/brad nailed with tongue and groove or regular boards for a barn door? Thanks in advance for the help. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2M9OOB3
