Good afternoon all! So I am hoping to get some insight on where to invest my money. I am a paramedic currently who works both on an ambulance and an ER. Both jobs are part time/ short hour at this time since I’m going back to school to become a Radiology Tech. I am 36 years old and a single father to a 3 year boy. ( mother and I split custody) I have been in EMS for 16 years and looking for a career change. I plan on working for another 30 years at least and would like to know where should invest the majority of my money. My hourly salary will double immediately in a couple of years when school is completed. My annual salary right now is about 70-85k based on overtime. The employer where I am working most these days has account w Vanguard. I currently invest 6% to 401 k and 3% to my ROTH account. there is about 6k in there as of today combined. What should I do differently if anything? Thank you in advance for the information!!
