Turned 18 and now im able to re do my room. The first problem to get around is this light switch. My room used to be one big room, but it was split in half by a wall to make an extra bedroom. The walls no longer needed and will be torn down, but first we have to move the lightswitch.This is what I'm working with.The switch was re routed from being on the left side, to the right side. You can see the pipe used to contain the wire.I want the switch to be back on the left side where it originally was since I am knocking down the wall where the switch currently is.Would this just be a case of taking the plates off and shortening the wire back to its original length?
