Sometimes I see this sub being split into two camps. Both sides want to avoid the social complexity of modern society and agree on all those things
The disagreements come with self-reliance and hardship. Some are content with living in small apartments, having simple hobbies and in a way try to make life as easy as possible. Others seem to want to strive towards more independence from society and that's anything but simple.
I think I'm more in the other camp. I want to physically disconnect from society as much as possible and enjoy the thought of being more self-reliant. It's not easy and in a way not simple but I feel like it's necessary.
What side are you on? Am I being too generalizing?
