Hi! First post on /r/DIY - I think I'm within the guidelines with this but please feel free to correct me!I recently got an LED lighting kit for my computer monitor. The strips are magnetic, but also include 3m adhesive on the back in case your monitor is not magnetic (mine is not).Unfortunately the adhesive doesn't stick all that well, and the connectors on the end of the strips are causing the strips to peel away from the monitor.I want to get something I can affix to the back of the monitor to make it so I can use the magnetic portion of the strips. Any suggestions are welcome. I did order a sheet of 90 magnet strips from amazon, but I'm not sure if they'll be strong enough, or even the right polarity so they dont repel the strips. If there's something similar, but just made out of metal, that might be better. Thanks in advance for the tips!Edit: These are the strips I ordered - can still cancel or return if these are no good... https://ift.tt/2MFFs16 via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2Nz41sV
