I'm going a bit crazy trying to figure out what to use as a fine aggregate layer and was hoping you guys can help!I'm installing a 1000sq/ft artificial lawn. I've installed a 4 inch deep 20mm road crush base and the last 50mm-1inch is reserved for a base layer/fine aggregate. Everything I read suggests granite or limestone dust, which I cannot get in my area of Canada (unless it's called something completely different)I found some people using grit/sharp sand which appears to be .006mm - 2mm sand from what I can tell. The only options from bulk supply I can get are 3mm and 5mm washed sand. (I may only be able to get the 5mm easily). I've done so much work on this already I do not want to mess up the last step before laying the grass. Is 5mm washed sand ok as the last inch of fine aggregate before the grass goes on? Does it have to be 3mm? Or at there other options I'm not seeing?Thank you! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2PdDSQS
