I'll keep this short, I'm sorry. But my dream job is to be a nanny, or to at least work in childcare. I don't have a college degree and don't really aspire to have one, though I might look into getting an associate's degree. I want to live the simplest of life, so salary has never been an issue for me as I know that my city of residence would allow for a pretty comfortable life with 'low' standards, no matter the salary. But I just need reassurance, since everyone who knows of this irl has been unsupportive.
I'm sorry. I just found this subreddit. I'm exciting to see it have that many subscribers. I'm sorry I will go through it more but I just wanted to vent and be reassured I guess. Today has been a shitty day and I'm on the brink of suicide. I'm just happy to find likeminded people, from what I've seen so far.
