Was told all kinds of horror stories. Never invest in individual stocks they told me. Compound interest the way to go. So me after college. First two years just saving cash. Next 2 years. 20% stocks. 40% bonds yielding a shitty grand total of $500-1K in interest. 40% cash but I was too scared of the market. Wish I had just jumped in FANG back in 2014
