Hello everyone,

I hope I won't bore you too much with yet another laptop backpack request.

I've already spent some time, reading different reviews, different subreddits, topics, posts, etc.

I made this post to gather some feedback / review / personal experience.

I'm Network/Security Engineer and spend 90% of my time on business trip, away from home so this backpack has to keep everything I need.

I had a EVERKI Flight backpack but I got all my stuff stolen, so I need a new one. This one was really good, had it for more almost 3 years, had it every single day and was almost just like new.

The only cons I figured :

- Not able to reduce/compress its size depending on what I had inside

- Depending on what I had inside (shape), I couldn't use it at its maximum volume.

What did I have inside so it might resume my needs:

- Laptop: 14" or 15" + charger (charger was in a case/sleeve with flash drives)

- 1 external drive + 1 external SSD (looking for a new case as well)

- LTE Router or an Access Point (I didn't have all the time)

- Glasses (2, with cases)

- Kindle + iPad Mini (both in different cases)

- Notepad (2, one small, one medium) + pens

- Headphones case (it was a BOSE QC25 in its dedicated case)

- Water bottle (also has to find a new bottle)

I might forget some little things...

Depending on long is my business trip, I might not get another suitcase and bring 1-2 shirts/polo/jean/ etc.

Everkli Flight ~28.5L and 1.5kg, this will define my new maximum. I'm sure there are better designed backpacks, maybe lighter and even smaller.

Location: I'm based in Europe so if it's available in EU that's better but if not, not a problem.

Budget: ~100-250$ at max because I will have to include custom+shipping fees.

If it's $250 shipping+custom fees included, that'd be great.

Here's now when I ask you guys/ladies if you know a backpack that would be really great for my use;-)

I've already checked those ones:

- Guru GR1 : Too big, definitely not designed for my needs and ... too expensive.

- Tom Bihn : Synapse 19 or 25 : Although it does seem to be a high quality product, I think it doesn't suit my needs. I may be wrong.

- NorthFace and Osprey : Different models, haven't been a fan of the look/style.

- Timbuk 2 Authority Laptop Backpack : 129$, 1.1kg, 28L, seems to be pretty good, Timbuk2 has been recommended many times in this subreddit but don't know that one.

- AER Flight Pack : 150$, 1.31kg, 23.6L, never heard of that brand, that backpack, I might have found this model on Reddit but don't remember where.

- INCASE EO Travel Backpack: 180$, 24L , never heard of that brand, that model but seemed cool.

- DSPTCH Daypack: 180$, 1.24kg, 22L, never heard of that brand before but there are more and more people talking about that brand. Not specifically this model though.

- MINAAL Daypack: 249$, 0.98kg, 21L, seems to be a kickstarter product, never heard of it before, pricey not sure if it worths it though.

Thank you for your comments and your time, :)
