I like small items that I can use in a variety of ways around the house and replace in bulk when needed. Having a few trusted supplies that fill many roles makes life simpler. My current favorites are:

Binder clips. The classic multitasker.

Microfiber cloths. Truly the best cleaning innovation of the past few decades. I use them for most cleaning task.

Double seal freezer bags and zipper top bags. Good for storing anything that needs to lay flat or take as little space as possible. These really save space in the freezer. A good sealing mechanism is a must, and I like a gusseted bottom as well. I keep a few different sizes and reuse when possible.

Clear duct tape. Holds things down securely without drawing attention to itself.

Command hooks. My current landlord won't allow drilling the walls, so these keep my artwork hanging nicely.
