I'm trying to use my social media platforms less and while it's not a problem when I'm at home, because I have a lot of things to do, it's a problem when I'm at work or commuting. especially at work, when I have a little bit of down time I immediately grab my phone and check facebook or instagram, even if checked them 15 minutes ago. I cannot read a book or do something meaningful during those breaks because it's very sporadic but I also don't want to feed the habit of grabbing a phone every time a little bit of boredom kicks in. any tips on how to deal with these impulses? I need to find a substitute to my social media habit but can't think of anything except for using other apps on my phone
