I had over 40 reward or loyalty cards. Most of them I used once or twice. I had a card for a bookstore I purchased a book once in 2004. A hotel card for a chain that doesn't even exist anymore. Another card for a local grocery chain from the place I lived in 2007.

Even though they were all consolidated in a app on my phone, it was still a lot of cards. (No I didn't physically kept them in my wallet).

So I just got rid of them all. Sat in front of my computer and logged in every account. Deleted those I could, and edited the personal information to random nonsense for those I couldn't delete. Switch all contact info to a throwaway email address. Then physically destroyed the cards.

I barely got any rewards on any of these cards anyway because I rarely ever buy stuff in the first place.
