I want to start keeping track of how/when/where/what or grocery budget is spent on. I do use Out of Milk for a shopping list, but I can't find a way to control the quantities of items other than the pre-set selections such as "jar", "box", "lb" etc. For example, let's say I buy 1/2 kilogram of lamb loin chops. The closest measurement is lb. If I was buying exactly 1 pound, or one kilogram (~2lbs) of the stuff it would not be such an issue, but more often than not the values are things like 1090 grams, or 420 grams, so I can't get the exact price.

Another example is things like potato chips. Sure, I know I can use the "bag" preset but what size bag? 40g? 90g? 120g? Did I buy 2 40g bags of chips last shop, or did a buy a 120g and a 40g?

Maybe I am being too picky, maybe I should use a spreadsheet (ugh!), I'm looking for an app for Android that can give me fine-grained control and let me input specific costs. For example one week Lamb Loin Chops might be $30/kilogram, the next week they might only be $25. Bacon might be $12.99/kg one week, and go up to $13.99/kg next week. So I'd like to be able to input "450gm lamb loin chops @ $21.99/kg" and have the app work out the total in order to better keep track of where my money is going.

I did a quick search of the sub, but the only thread I could find mentioning apps is 2 years old, and relative to Canada, whereas I'm in Australia. If anyone could help with suggestions, tips, whatever, that'd be appreciated.

TL;DR: Looking for shopping/grocery app that lets me set specific prices/quantities for purchases as well as/instead of, including preset values, focused for the Australian market
