I am currently taking full advantage of the company match in my Roth 401k. My company also offers a 15% discount on the Employee Stock purchase program. My question is, should I just dump more money into the Roth 401k, or should I invest in the Employee Stock purchase program, then transfer the stocks over to a Roth IRA?

My first impulse is to use the stock purchase program to take as much advantage of the 15% discount as possible. Are there any tax implications for selling the stock, transferring it to a Roth IRA.

On mobile, please forgive grammar mistakes.

Edit: note I plan on continuing to take advantage of the 401k company match, no matter what.
