I have an old RCA Victor radio from the early to mid 1950's. I am looking at stripping out all of the old guts and turning it into an Amazon Alexa speaker. I am wondering if I should go with off the shelf computer speakers to place inside of the rather large sound box, or should I go for in-wall speakers and build a custom MDF box to house them. I understand that if I go with the in-wall speakers, I will need an amplifier to power them, that isn't an issue. Again, it's a 4 foot tall radio, and it originally had a vacuum amp inside. Any and all advice welcome. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2zrNC6Z
