So I'm about to transfer into UNT in Denton, TX and I'm planning to bike to class 3 days a week. I'm trying to make sure I get some good stuff to make my life easier/better when I do move.

For example, my bike is of pretty good quality(I did my research to try and get a good one), but it only has some reflectors. No mirrors, no lights, no lock, and I don't have any sort of way to transport my bike in my car. I hear there's some good bike shops around there, but I want to make sure I check all my online/big brand options alongside local shops. I don't really have a budget for this, since I have no idea how much this stuff generally costs. I'm guessing $200-300.

Additionally, I've been using some cheap, old convention messenger bags from a few years ago throughout community college, and they're all falling apart too. So, now I have to figure out what kind of backpack/bag to get that can carry a few books, my laptop, my switch, and a few wires all while on my bike(it sounds worse than it is). I want something that I can use for the next 2-3 years not just for school, but maybe for travel(I like going to conventions) as well. My budget for this is $150, but I'm willing to go over a little bit if it's something really good. The only bag I've looked at is making a custom classic messenger bag from Timbuk2.

Other than that, I could use some general advice if you guys have any. The apartment I'm staying in will be fully furnished, and my roommate is bringing his TV(I'm taking care of getting a stand for the consoles). We need a coffee maker, but my parents have some I can use.

I do a lot of gaming on PC, but my posture is pretty bad and so my wrists have started hurting too; so I suppose I could use some advice on what kind of chair or pads might be worth getting.

Lastly, I have clothes all settled for the most part, but I could probably use a nice pair of athletic/everyday shoes. My current pair are a bit messed up, but otherwise are still good so this isn't a big deal.

That's all I can come up with for now. The main thing is stuff for biking and a good bag. If someone can help me get some quality brands that'd be amazing. I'm willing to answer any questions you guys might have about what things I do own and what I might want to get replaced.
