So I own two three quart sauté pans that are both nonstick/Teflon and the coating is starting to scratch and I’m sure they’ll start flaking soon. One is faberware, and the other is Rachel Ray. They were both gifts when I first moved out.

I use this type of pan nearly every day and I’m ready to spend some money to upgrade. My budget is about $100, but I’m willing to be flexible and spend a bit more. I’m also flexible on the size as long as it’s not drastically larger or smaller.

I’ve tried researching, but I’m really overwhelmed with how many different materials are out there and I’m also not very familiar with cookware brands. Overall it seems like I should be looking for copper, aluminum, or stainless steel.

I’m not worried about the pan being totally nonstick, the weight, or the color of the pan. My stove has gas burners, I’m not sure if this makes a difference. I’ll be happy to answer any further questions!
