(xposted to /r/plumbing) I'm moving into a house which has an icemaker line that was leaking, so I went and bought a replacement kit, this one to be precise:Everbilt 1/4 in. x 25 ft. Poly Ice Maker Kit https://ift.tt/2v50F91 was able to take the new line to the old and trace it through the existing path to the fridge, however when I try and connect it to the old line, the water leaks. Am I not tightening it enough? It feels like it won't go further.Pics: https://ift.tt/2LiVOvP first picture is where the icemaker line splits off under the sink, with the braided line being the cold water line for the sinkThe second picture is where there's a little valve (not sure if that's the right term) that allows for shutting off water to the icemaker. I tried attaching the new line to this, but it was too tight to unscrew. The third one is where I added the coupling from the old to the new line. When I turn the water on, the water leaks out from the new line end of this coupling.Any ideas what I'm doing wrong, or which parts I need? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2uLm47Y
