I have an elevated wrap-around deck, but the area where the access door is had tile to the edge of the house (about 3' x 14'.) We recently had most of the deck rebuilt, and it was no longer level with the tile, so we removed it.Now we are trying to come up with a solution to resurface this area. The adhesive that was underneath the tile is incredibly thick, at least 1/4", probably more in some places. I'd like to just put down a layer of self leveling cement and call it a day, but I'm unsure if I can just lay that on top of the tile adhesive, or if I need to put in the work to remove the adhesive.
