Hi everyone, I figured this would be a good place to ask this. My now pregnant wife and I are planning on moving from Philadelphia to Columbia, SC area. I make around 85k and am transferring within the company. I am seeing cost of living calculators showing we could live the same off of 20k per year less. How accurate do you folks view these things? Housing is clearly cheaper there.
