if my dividends hit my money market settlement fund, does that count as realization? Is there a grace period where i can reinvest the dividends without realizing them?
Is it better to just have the dividends get reinvested, or can i just have them deposited into the settlement fund so that i can invest them myself?
I've been told that you can't buy fractional shares of ETFs, but if i choose the reinvest option, Vanguard buys fractional shares, so I guess you can own fractional shares of ETFs. Is this going to be a problem if I try to sell them later?
