hello! so ive been thinking of more sustainable/body-sensitive methods of dealing w my period and im interested in period panties. only thing is they're expensive af while i am broke af.
ive also looked at reusable pads but i recently got the copper iud so my periods are now a force to be reckoned with. they're normally 5 days long with only one or two heavy days but now they're a solid 7, heavy for at least 4, and i spot for a couple days before and after! i also can't use cups cuz my strings are pretty long and i don't wanna like vacuum suck the damn thing right out of my cervix (ouch)
if anyone knows of affordable period panties/reusable pads/any other methods, please let me know!! as much as i love the cheap ass 42-pack of ultra thins from target, my vagina (and my conscience) says otherwise
side note: im trying the always pure & clean pads and feel a LITTLE better, but it's still trash in landfills that hurts my little heart
