This mindset leads to him coming home with fresh ingredients for dinner while we have a fridge and freezer full of previously-purchased meat and veggies. I tell him and he says “but those are frozen, these are better!”.
I always properly wrap and seal the food, there’s no issue there. I think this is a belief from his childhood or something.
