I work 10 hour shifts in retail on concrete floors. I walk 8-12 miles a day at work, and typically burn through a pair of cheap shoes every six months. The stitching breaks, the heel separates, and they just break down quickly.

I’ve been buying New Balance 409:

https://www.amazon.com/New-Balance-mx409v3-Comfort-Training/dp/B01CQTFJOY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1532958608&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=new+balance+409+black&dpPl=1&dpID=41EXg9nlH2L&ref=plSrch

And Nike Monarch:

https://www.amazon.com/NIKE-Mens-Monarch-Athletic-black/dp/B000GMH2VC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1532958927&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=nike+monarch+black&dpPl=1&dpID=41MGe-qvqcL&ref=plSrch

Neither pair seem to make it past six months. I’m ready to spend the money on a bifl pair of work shoes and am looking for advice.

The shoes must be all black, and preferably comfortable, although I know that is subjective. They don’t have to be dress shoes, but they can be if that is somehow better. I’ve typically gone with a running shoe or cross trainer.
