Hello! The soon to be hubster and I just bought our first house. I got really excited about adding shutters when I realized that the iron porch railing is too close to the window to accommodate them. Just the horizontal railing is too close, not the veritcal bars.What would be my best course of action?Cutting a slit into the shutters? Removing the railing and seeing if i can solder the iron shorter to connect to the shutter? Something else entirely? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2ArmkxV
