I'm a manager at a bowling alley, and not sure if everyone is aware or not, but every summer there's a program called Kids Bowl Free. Any child under the age of 15 can be signed up, and it entitles them to 2 free games a day. It runs til the end of September. Shoe rental isn't included, but two free games can save you a ton of money.
There's also a family plan that can be purchased for like $30, it's a one time fee and that allows you to add up to 4 adults who will then get 2 free games. I signed up my nieces and didn't buy the family plan, and have been getting emails periodically to take 25 percent off of that $30. If you bowl fairly regularly, you might also wanna look in to getting your own bowling shoes, then you won't even have to pay for shoe rental.
To sign up just go to kidsbowlfree.com or there's an app you can get as well, it's just called Kids Bowl Free. It takes like 5 minutes to sign up and you get emailed the coupons once a week, or they can be loaded on your app. Wasn't sure if this was a well known thing or not, but figured there may be some that didn't know about it.
Edit: I just got my coupons for the week emailed and it says use code summer30 and take 30 percent off of the family plan price, for anyone interested.
