I replaced my nasty old deck with a beautiful stone patio. This left me with a bottom row of siding shingles that were cracked, warped and generally gross.I’ve started removing them but the question is - how do I remove the lower nails from the shingles I’ll be installing under?Googling told me to saw though the nails from below. This seems awkward with the amount of room I have at the bottom and way too time and labor intensive for the amount I’m doing. Guy at Lowe’s told me to use a power grinder but that doesn’t seem right either. Maybe there’s a way to pull the nails?I’m seriously confused, and have already pulled 3/4 of the shingles so I’m too deep to stop. Thanks in advance. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2JXe1JS
