I want to hang beadboard in my kitchen with board and batten. I wanted to do 8" footer, 4" header, and 2" vertical stiles (are they called stiles?). The only problem is the wall in this photo: https://ift.tt/2NaU04r ... That baseboard heating element is 12" high where it meets the wall. What can I do to make it look natural?I imagine it will look pretty silly with the vertical stiles just stopping short of the heater.. I had thought about putting a thin strip of trim across the top of the element ,but woudl that look silly? Would my intersecting wall footer have to be the same height in order to look natural? The intersecting wall (not shown) will be mostly covered by a fridge and stove, so I have some wiggle room with the footer there, but I still want it to look as natural as I can feasibly make it. This is a tight-budget project so hiring a professional is not an option. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!EDIT: added photo link. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2zHnCor
