Basically my girlfriend and I set up IP autopay through website and phone as to not be bothered with it (disclaimer: I know this is a dumb move but this instance maybe not?). We never really looked into it until recently when our apartment complex began adding in other network providers with better service for a cheaper price. We were going to do some accounting of our bills to see where we needed to cut back and surprise, we have never paid IP though we had their service for a year.

So general questions: 1. Do we notify them of this and how do we go about explaining they erred and never charged us?

  1. Is this at all our fault? They activated the internet over a phone call but never charged us so I am confused if we did something wrong with setup.

  2. Our online account says we aren't activated now that we are taking a closer look at it, but the internet was activated so are accidentally stealing internet?

  3. We were planning to switch anyway to another IP, should we just cancel and switch? (I feel most uncomfortable with this option)
