This is meant as a light-hearted topic about things that when you were younger or whatever you thought that if these things happened, it meant you were poor and failing at life or just plain stupid. But now that you're older and wiser and frugal, you see as great ways to enjoy life without wasting money, putting on airs, empty virtue signaling, etc.

Here's some examples from people in my life, where because I do them, they in their judge-y world give me that look that says "AmNotLost is failing at life" And I'd love to hear yours:

Taking the bus

Going camping or visiting family instead of a "real" vacation

Not having cable tv

Not getting your nails done for your cousin's wedding

Having to scrub a pot that has dried on scrambled eggs

Riding a bike to work

Making food from scratch

Using the library

Using "food stamps" if you qualify for them

Buying store-brand food/soda

Doing your own laundry/ironing/mending/alterations

Driving an older car

Edit: I want to make sure it's clear, in case it wasn't, that I'm not saying any of these things are failing at life, since I'm not a failure and I do/have done them.
