I bought a Falkniven Idun about 10 years ago on sale, which is still very expensive for a belt knife, but it has lasted through everything I have put it through. Preparing kindling and tender, doing camp tasks, camp kitchen tasks, and even the occasional cleaning of fish. I also have an F1 3g that is several years old (can't remember the exact date) and have had absolutely great success with it as well. Falkniven is known to be a BIFL brand but I just wanted to add to the legend. The only issue with them is the sheath for the Idun (they may have fixed this) is not the best in the world. I use a drop leg sheath for another small belt knife.
