I've done a search and I still have some questions about the best way to get a reliable and frugally priced rental. I've got awhile until the trip so I'd like to pick some brains!
Besides Costco (which I don't have), where do you recommend and why? Has anyone used thrifty before? The prices are good ($14-17/day) but google turns up some troubling reviews. Likewise I've read issues booking third party and the insurance included not being accepted by the company at the counter and buying it twice (various companies). Or because booking third party having issues at pick up. I also read that being away from the airport is cheaper but I don't find that true in my searches.
I have secondary insurance through my mastercard, and only liability in my name so that doesn't cover rentals.
