I was supposed to go in on Monday to fill out tax papers. Manager quit before that, still went in, store clerk said she'd pass my info to the assistant manager. Called back Tuesday, assistant manager was off, talked to a different employee. Called back Wednesday, assistant manager still wasn't in, talked to same employee as Monday, apparently a temporary store manager has been placed. She advised to call the store tomorrow (Saturday) to talk to the temp manager. I've not received any contact from the temporary store manager, or the assistant manager, even though they both supposedly have my info.
What I'm wondering is, should I try to contact the District Manager and see if they wanna place me at a different store? Should I just give up? I really need this job and have applied everywhere else for retail, the only job type left is fast food, which I've already worked in before and hated. I'm at a loss here.
