Thanks for reading this, total newbie here. I just joined this sub one week ago and been trying to understand more about investment. Bought 2 investment beginner book and currently processing it . Hope to gain more knowledge from you guys.
I am currently 24 years old and residing in Singapore. I've been working for 6 months and had 18K in the bank. I plan to save 2K and invest the rest. I earn 4.5K each month after tax and could save around 3.7K every month. My monthly expenses is around 200 bucks and 600 dollars for my parents.
I do not have any Debts and currently want to grow my money and looking into all available options (safe method /high risk high reward). I also don't need the money next month or in two years.
My question is where should I start? Or what should I look into? I am currently planning to invest 5K into stocks and the rest still looking for other available options so my portfolio can be more diverse.
